The International Meeting of Romanists is the most important conference for linguists organised by the Department of Romance Languages at UPOL. Romanists, as it is commonly called, is held annually in November, one month after the CIFRE colloquium for students, and brings together specialists in all four languages of the department (French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish). This was the third talk to which I was invited at the beginning of NAIMES, giving me an opportunity to introduce myself and my work.

After two general presentations of my postdoctoral project, my talk at Romanists, titled "Los nombres propios y su (no) traducción en español: evidencias de textos institucionales, audiovisuales y turísticos", provided a connecting summary of my previous work on onomastics, multilingualism, and translation. My aim was to make my scientific profile and achievements better known, demonstrate the connection between my previous research and my current project, and raise awareness of name science among fellow linguists.
